Blog Makeover Reveal

Hey-ho blog friends!  How is April treating you so far?  We came into it with a flu bug starting through the family, so hoping for healthier times ahead…

Now, if it looks a bit unfamiliar here….don’t panic!  You’re still in the right place.  This has all been happening behind the scenes for a few months now.  Top secret.  So now that the secret’s out…what do you think?  If you take a look around you’ll find most things pretty much as they were.  You’ll see a new twitter button with his social networking friends over on the right, so you can find me on twitter now too.  There is a new search bar over to the side so if you’re looking for something particular I hope it’s easier to find.  Also new and improved is that you can receive my comment replies into your email inbox if you want.  Did you even know that I reply to your comments?  It’s true.  Every single one!  If you don’t want to see them you can unsubscribe but hey, I figure a two-way conversations is actually…well…a conversation.

I take little credit for most of this.  My contribution is the continuous stream of wishes, ideas and dreams.  It’s Mr. Personally who makes it all magically come to life on the screen the way it looks in my head.  It’s a big stretch from his other more big-league and marketplace-changing web architecture.  Apparently over there it doesn’t matter whether things are pretty OR fun.  So I thank him for stooping to my level and indulging me. (((Smoooch))).

And more big kudos go to the designer of my super-awesome bloggy header!!!  *Big cheer*  It’s all hand painted and original and I love it!  Her name is Malu Lenzi and I met her through my photography partner, because Malu also designed the logo for our photography business which you can peek at over here.   You can also visit her website and Society6 shop for more inspiring graphic design.  And over on instagram and facebook you can follow her feed of whimsical and sweet drawings that always put a smile on my face.

Aaaaand…as a special freebie for PersonallyAndrea readers, Malu has designed this pretty thank-you card for all of you to download here.  We both agreed…the world could always use more thank-you cards.  So pop some letter-sized sheets of cardstock in your printer and keep a few of these handy for the beautiful people in your life.  Showing appreciation is one of those things you never regret, right?  (Thanks Malu!)

Well, it might be a bit quirky here for a while (try refreshing your page for now if there’s stuff missing).  And there will still be some tweaks happening in the next few days, but for now at least the new look is rolled out (that’s a totally tech-y term I learned from Mr. P).  If you notice anything really wonky or not working I’d appreciate a heads-up, ‘cuz we’re all here to help each other out, right?.   And I’d love to know what you think of the new look!
