Wow, did anyone else feel like this was the longest week EVER?!? But finally it’s Friday which means it’s time for another Photo Finish. This one is from the last ginormous assignment I handed in for my Wedding Photography class which is now done.
Whew.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when I took this photo scouting a wedding location? Well, this was it…The Real Wedding. It was fun and amazing and exhausting and invigorating all at once.
This was first thing that day. Down at the waterfront photographing the groom and his groomsmen before the ceremony in just about the only bit of shade to be found. This part of the day was so laid back, relaxed and fun. The weather was perfect and the guys all looked fabulous, totally rocking their dark grey suits with these pink boutonnieres. We took some formal poses here, some more casual ones near the lighthouse and finally some with a Mercedes one of the guys had rented. Apparently that was a big deal. Whatever, it made them happy and the pictures were pretty cool. Thanks so much guys for initiating me into the Real World of Wedding Photography. I think we did okay.
(And later this summer more of those photos will show up over on the AB Photography blog…I’ll let you know.)
But for now, it’s like I have summer holidays. And it’s the weekend. Yay!!!! I hope you find some reasons to look back on a great (long) week and celebrate too. Cheers to Photo Finish Friday.
