October perfection
Hasn’t October been a beautiful fall month this year? I loved the progression of colour, the weather was top-notch, and some pretty great occasions happen in October too. Looking back I realized what a busy month it’s been behind the scenes of what I usually write about here. So I thought I’d give a little peek in pictures of life behind the blog scene from the month of October. And it’ll give you an idea of the larger life in the Personally family. Maybe it’s a little bit like your behind-the-scenes too.

I designed the centrepieces for a fundraising event. (I made the stencilled birch slices for the tall vases…a tutorial for these may show up here some day.) Sweet friends of ours lost their daughter to leukemia two years ago and have established a foundation to send siblings of kids with cancer to summer camp. You can read her story and more about the foundation here.

Well these are a few of the things that ended up on my camera and phone. Thanks so much for checking in and sharing these with me. There’s more where these came from on instagram and facebook, so make sure to follow me there. And don’t forget to get all my posts delivered straight to your inbox, and you’ll never miss a photographic thing.
Here’s what else was up on the blog in October…
I hope your October was filled with good things too. Looking forward to some excited and wet trick-or-treaters tonight…I hope I left enough candy for them. Have fun and stay safe! I’ll see ya back here in November!
