Anything mini is immediately cute, so pair some Easter mini eggs with mini peat pots for a cute addition to your Easter table setting.
With Easter arriving early this year and just around the corner, I decided to pull out some spring decor, even though we still have snow on the ground. I had also already bought a few packages of chocolate mini eggs, just to be prepared, you know. So while all my supplies were pulled out, I thought I’d show you a quick idea for a little table favour you can make for your Easter dinner place settings.
Supplies needed:
mini peat pots (purchased at the dollar store)shredded kraft paper (or Easter grass)
bakery twine
Easter mini eggs
With all your supplies gathered, assembly couldn’t be easier. Wrap a length of twine around the top of the peat pots. (Tip: it’s easier to turn the pot upside down and wrap/tie the twine at the “bottom”.) Fill the mini peat pot about half-way with the shredded paper, allowing some pieces to loosely spill from the top. Add a small handful of mini eggs.
Done.
Decorate each place setting with a single one, or group them all together on a tray or cake stand as a centrepiece. Just make sure there’s one for everyone!
